Excessive sweaty palms is called Hyperhidrosis and it is not normal. One of the treatment of it is by using an Antiperspirant. But using antiperspirant is not enough. You can use methods like Iontophoresis but if your condition is severe then you can use the method Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy (ETS) to cure your sweaty palm.

I use soy milk and oat cream because of their taste and their ability to foam (and because they are widely available around here).

Only sometimes I will get lots of little flocs in my coffee/tea, instead of creamier taste. This happened to both soy milk and oat cream (and I was sure that oat cream does not flocculate, sigh...), has something to do with hot water, but what? And how to prevent this ALWAYS?

I switched to rice milk.

Soy is fine if you want your coffee tepid, and quickly pour enough soy milk in to bring the temp right down.

However...

It doesn't work with flavored coffees. It's like instant miso. I just have to keep stiring the whole time.

Try getting a shaker so that you can pour the milk in it everytime before you use it and shake it. When milk settles it develops particulate that breaks up the foam. You also have to use soy milk up pretty fast because their's only about a week before it goes bad. Also hemp milk foams really well.

Maybe you can try that and see if you like it better.

Here are a few pointers which I hope will help you! :)

1.Always wear protective gloves when using ANY cleaning products at all such as dish washing detergent, bleach ect.

2. Do not put your hands in water more than necessary. Frequent washing when not necessary can dry out your skin and take away natural oils.

3.Use only very gentle moisterizers without fragrance such as cetaphil.

hi, i too have allergy like symtoms on the skin, rashes, itchy parts, etc. It first broke out on the front of my legs and has also been in other areas. If you have eczema of the skin, use cortizone cream for the itching and dry skin relief. Also, do not use anything on your skin that contains perfume. I have eczema too. You need to find out what triggers it. Like foods, detergent that use around the house and work, Body cleansers and creams including the soap you use to wash your hands in. Try changing your diet. Remove all the obvious things that people are allergic to and see if the eczema goes away. Milk, soy, nuts (peanuts, pecans, walnuts), eggs, tomatoes, chocolate and strawberries.

I have never heard that and I'm older than the typical poster on here (I'm 21). I would never put drain cleaner on my skin. I don't even keep it in my apartment. It's nasty stuff. I just clean my slow drains with baking soda, vinegar, and hot water.

It sounds a lot like poison ivy. Any chance you were exposed recently? I was pretty much immune to it until I was in my 20s, and the first time I got it, it was just tiny little bumps full of clear liquid on my fingers.

It usually comes up first where you might have touched the plant, but it's a systemic toxin, meaning it can cause bumps anywhere on your body.

Regardless of what it is, I recommend Ivy Dry for any rash like this. It feels good, and, like the name implies, it helps dry the rash up.
Sounds like poison oak/poison ivy. A lye based soap is greatly beneficial. It is the oils that react with the body producing the rash. Dry it out and voila you are free of itchiness. Good luck.

I suggest using the MAC Select Cover-Up concealer. It is a liquid concealer, it is highly pigmented and it does a pretty good job covering my horrible dark circles. I use shade NW25. It may seem like a lot of money, but this stuff lasts a long time and a little bit of the concealer really does go a long way.

I normally use L'Oreal HiP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner, but have always bought it in the Blackest Black, which I haven't been able to find [even online]. I've found black, but it has an almost brown tint to it. If I wanted brown, I would have bought brown. =D I've also tried Physicians Formula Felt Pen Eyeliner but it's not water proof, so it smudges quickly and makes me look like a raccoon.

I'm looking for an eyeliner that goes on fairly easy, goes on smoothly [doesn't clump or smudge or give you that ';melting'; look]. I'm not sure what the actual difference between the four eyeliners - besides the obvious texture [in all honesty, I've never seen / used the gel - I've only heard of it].

Anyway, what I am asking is: What is a good eyeliner, that's easy to apply, dries quickly enough so it doesn't smudge, and that I can get fairly dark without having to draw or re-do the line more than once or twice? The best gel liner: MAC fluid lines they're waterproof and go good on the waterline as well as upper lash line

The best cream liner: The l'oreal one you've used... I know MAC pro has a cream liner but I never used it.

Liquid: Personally I like the wet n wild one. I like the super thin fine brush but perstidge has a good one as well.

I think the pencil goes on great. But it depends on the brand. If you buy eyeliner and it won't go on good try to sharpen it.

I use MAC in Black track fluidline which always gives me the darkest line, you do have to use a brush to apply it but its worth it
i use the stencil from revlon colorstay, it works really good and doesn't fade as i am a thick wearer of it.
cream liner is best
you could try using a primer on your eye and under your eye before applying eyeliner. i find that prevents any smearing or smudging of liners.

Kohl pencils go on easily and offer a more... smudged look instead of a crisp line that creams and liquids can offer. These tend to me messier though.

I would suggest for lower lashes getting a cream or gel liner. and for upper lashes, liquid or cream looks nice (liquid if you prefer a cleaner look, cream if you like a look that is clean but not so sharp and that can me smudged a bit)

go to a store and try them out on your hand, see what you like most.
cover girl has some pens that are similar to the L'Oreal you used. i haven't used the L'Oreal but the cover girl works great for me.

I don't normally like using foundation day-to-day because I don't have any major blemishes. However, i would like to turn over a new leaf and try it! Maybe even out my skin tone. If your skin is dry definately go with a cream or foundation (but definately not a ';cream to powder';) because you will look cracked with a powder. If you have oily skin go for a powder which will absorb some of the excess moisture. I tend to go for a tinted moisturizer in the summer and a cream foundation in the winter because my skin is a little on the dry side.Cream, powder, or liquid foundation?
If you don't have any major blemishes, powder works quite nicely. I use Neutrogena or Almay; the compact includes this sponge but I throw that out and use a big fluffy makeup brush instead. It evens out my skin tone and looks natural; foundation tends to cake.

For evenings or special events you can use foundation but make sure you use enough moisterizer first so it doesn't cake (unless you have oily skin, you'll want to get a water based foundation). Then finish it off with some powder.

I personally don't use foundation on a daily basis because I think it clogs pores and isn't that great for the skin.
Try a tinted mosturizer. You can get a bottle for about $3 American or $6 Canadian dollars from wet n wild. It's a lotion for your face that is tinted to ad a very small amount of coverage to even out your skin tone.

Cream foundations usally offer full coverage-too much coverage for you

Powder is ok but a little drying

Liquid foundation usally offers full to medium coverage but too much if you have perfect skin.
What I do [I have quite sensitive skin] is moisturise my skin every night, but only lightly. Then when I wake up, I lightly exfoliate my skin and pat it dry, then use a liquid foundation for a base. I then use powder foundation over the top, but only a little; just to get rid of any shiny bits, like my nose can be sometimes. Then use whatever you normally use. The pros of powder foundation are that they are easier on skin, and they allow your skin to breathe, whereas liquid foundation clogs your pores and can be quite heavy on your skin. But if you use both, which I do, I find it quite a good combination, but I guess it's different based on your skin type. :) xo
Cream: many contain oil so leave your skin feeling greasy by the end of the day and you have LOTS of shine on your face.

Liquid: many are pink or orange based so you need to choose your skin shade carefully. it is easily blendable (depending on the brand) and touch-ups are easy to do.

Powder: i prefer mineral if you choose a powder foundation. they are the lightest feeling foundation and provide buildable coverage (sheer-max). many now contain antioxidants as well to keep your skin nourished.
Cream- Thick, creamy, goop. Sort of a mixture between powder and liquid.

Powder- Powdery, easy to apply, messy. Leaves a mess but it is easy to put on,

Liquid- Watery, messy, and probably the best if you don't mind makeup.

Personally, I hate foundation, but if you don't like makeup, powder is the best. If you don't care about the feeling of makeup, then use liquid. I don't like cream at all.
well personally i would go with the liquid coverup because it works wonders! i love the liquid and cant go back to powder anymore. but the cons of liquid is its bad for the enviorment.

as for cream i have never really gotten into that yet.

but my suggestion is you use the liquid to cover up any belemishes or freckles that you want to hide and then powder your whole face with the powder foundation.

Well if you don't have any Major skin issues and just want a nice even tone i would try mineral powder makeup. It makes your skin even and will not even look like your wearing it which is always good. It can sometimes be slightly more expensive though

The fact that you have tried all these products with no results means that the ink has permanently dyed the leather. The re is also a chance that the finish has been damaged on the leather with some of the products listed. It will need a technician now to rectify the problem as you will need to have a colour mixed to match your leather.

For general information on ink removal:

Old wives tales are a major cause of most repairs that leather technicians go out to fix and hairspray and solvents are the most common. Taking notice of these untested/unproved old wives tales could cost you a great deal of money if it goes wrong.

Just repaired a very expensive jacket that had been virtually ruined by using hairspray to remove ink. It did not remove the ink and left a far worse problem to solve.

Removing ink from leather is not a cleaning problem.

Most ink removal products will not work simply because of the length of time the ink has been on the leather.

Ink is a dye and has re-coloured the leather (this is what it is meant to do)

The longer the ink has been on the leather the harder it is to remove because it soaks into the finish. Once it has soaked into the finish you have to use very strong products to remove it, which will also remove finish and pigment which then need replacing.

Pigment/Protected leather

If the ink is on a pigmented leather then the first thing you should try is an LTT Ink Stick. The fresher the ink the more chance you have of removing it. It is a good idea to have one in your house if you have pale leather and children!!!!

Old ink will be harder to remove than new ink and may mean resorting to solvents which will also remove the finish. This is probably best left to the experts

If an ink stick doesn't work a solvent based remover will need to be used and it may also remove finish and pigment so is best left to the experts.

You should also be using LTT Leather Protect on your suite. This will act like a 'scotchgard' and will make any more mishaps easier to clean off.

You will see many people recommending household products to remove ink – this is not recommended as most simply will not work, some may appear to work but the damage they cause can make a much bigger problem which is then un-repairable (even by a technician)

DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING:

Hairspray - This is very risky as it can make the matter far worse by spreading the ink over a bigger area and can sometimes then be impossible to fix.

Nail Varnish remover/solvents will remove the finish on the leather even if you cannot tell it is doing so and this will then need replacing, and alcohol may do the same depending on the strength of the finish on the leather.

Baby wipes – just about the worst thing you can use on a leather as they break down the finish and will eventually ruin it.

Milk or Toothpaste - these are just silly ideas that will leave sticky residues on the surface which will help to break down the finish on your leather.

Silicones/furniture polish – should not be used on leather. They will form a coating on the surface of the leather which will not allow any moisture to get to the leather itself and will eventually break all the finish down and cause it to crack.

Hide food will not remove ink and will leave residues on the leather which will attract dirt and oils.

Most leather cleaners will not remove ink unless a very good leather protector has been used on a regular basis.

Magic sponges or erasers (Mr, Clean Magic Erasers). These have been tested by experts in the leather industry and have found to do a lot of damage to certain finish types on leather.

Aniline Style Leather

As aniline style leathers are largely absorbent it means that the ink will have soaked straight into the leather itself. This makes it impossible to remove. No product will successfully remove the ink.

DO NOT try ink removing products on aniline style leathers as most will leave a greasy residue which will then cause another problem.

if you go you local supermarket, you can buy actual leather cleaner, which would be best as you may damage you leather chair if you use a variety of different products. i have a cream sofa and it gets really dirty with having kids and they work wonderful for me. it doesn't have to be a certain make as long as its for leather.

Aloe is more of an herbal remedy, then a homeopathic remedy. Aloe can be taken internally if it is a high quality product. The only problem is that if you take to much you can cause more harm than good. If you don't know much about aloe and how to use it, I would suggest talking with someone who is knowledgeable about it before using it. Check with your local health food store. The pores on my skin are completely clogged to the point to where you can not only feel them but you can see them.. They are very gross and when I put make up on you can see them even more. i want to make ice cream using liquid nitrogen. can you do so with a recipe that uses eggs like normal ice cream does? this recipe calls for boiling heavy cream, sugar, and chocolate...whiskings eggs...pouring cooked milk mixture in with the eggs and then cooking the mixture in low heat....add more heavy cream and vanilla...refrigerating it for a couple hours....this cooled mixture then usually goes in an ice cream maker but do u think i could use liquid nitrogen instead?!?!?!?

I have only made some with fresh fruits and cream. No eggs, no chocolate, no nothing. The product is best when eaten fresh... so you don't need any stabilizer like eggs. It will be gone really fast. :-)

The fruit ice cream recipe is really nothing but cream mixed with the fruits (raspberries are my favorite but I can see that it could work with many other fruits), sugar if needed, and then the liquid nitrogen is poured (carefully!) into a LARGE bowl.

The mixture makes a lot of fog and looks very cool, but when everything is done, what you get is a pretty fresh tasting, fluffy ice cream.

Be aware that plastics and glass WILL crack when they are exposed to liquid nitrogen. So you will either sacrifice Mom's Tupperware (it will get ';nitrogen burns';) or get a nasty thermal shattering event if you make the mistake of using regular glass. You NEED to wear safety glasses, a lab coat and mitts and probably use a thermally isolated metal bowl. Looks cooler anyway when you are suited up! And make that bowl LARGE! (But start with small batches first and work your way up until you get a feel for the results.)

Go for Bigen brand in #59 'Oriental Black' available on most beauty supplies or the internet... its a powder u have to mix with water, so no peroxide, ammonia, or harsh ingredients. The result is the deepest black ever, trust me. The size comes smaller than most hair dyes, so you have to buy about a package for every 4 inches of hair length.

Go and get vaseline and neosporin or a store brand anti bacterial ointment. and do not keep the tattoo covered with whatever they wrap it in when you leave, that draws out the ink. My husband headed over for me and bought 2 liquid boxes and a bottle of developer. I've only ever used cream but it was a year ago with my cousin (who's a stylist) and she mixed the developer (never telling how much) and did everything else. I went to Sally's and bought some hair color a couple of times. Ion is one of the best hair dyes to use. I like to go there myself so I can ask them which hair dye is the best to use and which developer should I use. But all you have to do is read the directions (either on the inside or outside of the box), and it should say how much developer is needed. You should also use one of those plastic bottles that have the measurements on it so you would know how much developer you are mixing with the dye and it is also easier to apply dye to your hair with one of those bottles. If you dont fully understand, go to Sally's and ask one of the associate's there to help you.

Avons concealer stick is pretty good, it's green so it cancels out the red spots on the skin, usually only needs a fairly light application. I am not much into make-up but I always use a cream souffle' foundation that avon makes, it's light on my skin and doesn't feel like a mask. I can't be much help tho, like I said I am not into make-up but was an avon rep for a while so I know the products well enough.
If you have serious splotches to cover up, I suggest you lay creme foundation on first and go over it with liquid for a flawless, porcelain coverage. That's what I do xD

but generally, liquid is heaver.
I would suggest liquid for covering up spots, but I love using dream mat moose!!!!

You should mix it in to assure smooth sour cream. It is just a simple separation of the cream and needs mixing to return to its normal state when it was packaged. The parts settled out in transit before it reached your table. If you do not mix it in the sour cream will be thicker, lumpy and clumpy. (I mix mine!!!! I like the smooth texture!)
There really is no answer to this question. It does matter at all what you do as long as you don't eat it because that would be gross. So opinions are all that people can give you. My advice is shake the container when the lid is on it and stir it up, it works well for me.

The liquid is specifically designed for oily skin and the cream for dry.

Decide on where you plan on applying it: If that part is dry, get the cream, and if oily, the liquid :)
MAC makes you break out it's designed for photo shoots to be put on and taken off an hour or so later..

Estee Lauder Double Wear is my absolute HG foundation.

It has good coverage if you need to cover scars or acne, while still remaining light weight. All of the colours have a yello/gold undertone so you won't be getting any pink shimmer with this foundation.

It is around 拢25.

Laura Mercier Silk Creme is extremely light weight and offers medium coverage. Good for general use if you don't have any major blemishes to disguise. The shade range isn't great but they clearly label if it has yellow or pink undertones. It's around 拢30.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid is thick enough to cover redness but light enough to not be noticeable on the skin. No idea of the undertones, but they usually have a pretty huge shade range. It's around 拢8.

If you only need to cover light redness then maybe consider a tinted moisturiser such as You Rebel by Benefit.What is the absolute best liquid or cream foundation?
Revlon Colorstay has great coverage but if it gives you too much and you dont like it, try mixing it with a little moisturizer, that will tone it down a bit. I also recommend Neutrogena Healthy Skin liquid makeup. That seems to be the perfect one for me. I use it everyday. It has a great yellow undertones and has medium coverage. As for ';white mask';, you are using the wrong color. Try something a bit darker and if the next shade is too dark, try mixing the two colors.
Liquid foundations clog your pores and typically have parabens. Methylparaben is one of the ingredients in WD-40. Go for a mineral foundation. Glo Minerals is one of the best out there. Wonderful coverage. You can get a free makeup test at most spa or salons that sale it. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Good luck!

Savila base foundation from Coonobabe. This is for oily skin which I have, but they have for normal as well.

I top it off with their happy ending powder to keep it in place. remember a good rule of thumb is that if people can tell you have foundation on, it's that you have used too much. less is more

just dab your brush in a little water and then put it in the eye shadow. this will make it thicker like a cream eye shadow. You could try dabbing it in a moisturizer and then the eye shadow but it may cause it to cake up in the crease later. try the water thing.
Wet your makeup brush with a bit of water, then dab it into the loose powder. You should get something of a wetter consistency. This is what makeup artists do.

If you want a thin, transparent layer for natural look you put some on the top of your one hand below your thumb and take little by little with your other hand or a soft sponge and apply gently, never forgetting to fade it down to the neck. If you want a richer layer for evening makeup- or better cover you should do the same but applying it with a foundation brush. Always end with a transparent powder to avoid unwanted shines!!!!

First DO not use a sponge, all it does is soak up the foundation and ends up pulling off what you've put on.

I put a bit on my two index fingers, then place it on my face where I feel its needed. As you put it one, try to do the same thing to both sides of your face, rub it on in the same place, in the same way, on both sides of your face. Dont put too much on either, too much can look horribly overdone. Put on only as much as you feel you need.

Dark colors: (contour- sides of your nose, temples, hallow of cheeks, under chin, etc.) The highlight/contouring is not really necessary unless you're going to be photographed, or unless you simply want an even, defined look. =)

I currently use almay liquid and i have no trouble putting it on so thats not an issue, i also love it. I was looking into trying cream liner, just something new. which do you think is better? what are the pros and cons of each? how is the l'oreal hip cream liner?Liquid or Cream eyeliner? i don't have problems with application for either, but i prefer cream/gel eyeliner. it's much easier to work with, for me, as i feel it gives me a little more control since i have to exert more pressure to apply it. with liquid, the slightest wrong move leaves a big dark splotch that's hard to clean up. i like to line my upper and lower waterlines often, and cream/gel doesn't irritate my eyes the way liquid does--it also dries a lot faster. and if i want, i can smudge it really easily to get a smoky look, which i definitely can't do with liquid. i feel that cream/gel lasts a long longer, as well, but that just may be my imagination.

l'oreal hip cream liner is a great choice; it's really potent and inexpensive. an even cheaper alternative is jane's be pure mineral gel eyeliner, which also comes with a brush. it works JUST like mac's fluidlines or stila's smudgepots, but only costs like 6 bucks. i have every color.

edit: for the type of winged look you like, it's definitely possible to create using cream/gel, but you'd have to be using an extremely sharply angled brush. for that look in particular, it might be easier with liquid.Liquid or Cream eyeliner? Which is better?
I can't say which is better because I have both the liquid and cream eyeliner. Both work really well for me.

PROS: (liquid)

- most are easy to remove.

- i love the liquid eyeliners that come with a felt-tip like marker. It's easier to control.

CONS: (liquid)

- sometimes it doesn't dry fast enough

- smudges easily.

PROS: (cream)

- dries really fast.

- lasts all day.

- a little goes a long way. you also get more product b/c it's in a pot. Most liquid eyeliners come in those small bottles.

CONS: (cream)

- (depending on the color) need to add more product to get the color intensity that you desire.

for the liquid eyeliner, i have Maybelline's waterproof liquid eyeliner in black.

for the cream eyeliner, i have l'oreals hip cream eyeliner in black, eggplant %26amp; teal.

The liquid liner goes on more easily, doesn't smudge, but has a hard line to it that can look too painted on.

The creamier kind, such as pencil or kohl, has a tendency to smudge, but looks great for the most part.

So I guess it's a matter of what you can best live with.

I personally prefer a kohl pencil...it gives a smokier effect that is downright alluring. BUT - I have to keep reapplying it every 3 hours because it fades and smudges on the crease of my eye.
I use liquid and cream, and personally I like the cream better because my liquid tends to smudge and takes a little bit long to dry to if I blink it gets at the top of my lid. Cream dries pretty quick but it's easy to take off if you make a mistake. Liquid and Cream both stay on well, staying on isn't a problem for either.

If you're going to get a cream you mean something like MAC fluidline, don't you? With brush application? Well I recommend fluidline, more than any liquid. It has easy application. I like it much more than liquid even though I still use liquid. Fluidline creates a nice look, and you can do winged/vamp look's with cream.
try the make up forever aqua liner.. u can find it at sephora. its kinda pricey but well worth it lasts a long time and doesnt smudge its a cream liner i love it. its worth about 20 bucks:) but gives u very nice results and soo easy to apply. really soft

It could be a number of things but the biggest one is it doesnt have any more gas in it. Cause you were probably playing with the nozzle alot, even when you didnt want to use it.

It could be to warm. And actually, real whipped cream is better. Reddi Whip is mostly gas. So it will water down real easily. Make either whipped cream from heavy cream or stabalized whipped cream for best results.

I LOVE gel/cream eyeliner. I currently use stila smudge pot in black. it's fantastic. it pretty much contain all the same qualities of a liquid eyeliner, it doesn't smudge and it stays put ALL day. it also dry in an instance so it's not messy.

i would recommend any of the coastal scents eyeliner brush. preferably a fine brush. I find it easier to use than a flat eyeliner brush

Oh and cream liner is great for top lids, not so much for waterline

pencil.

I use lavera organic eyeliner. because it's all natural and does not harm my eyes. pencil eyeliner is ideal for bottom lashline/waterline no so much for top lids since it does tend to smudge a lot.

I have a few liners that i use for different purposes.

1. I use pencils in tightlining because it stays on better %26amp; it doesn't sting my eye...(lining the upper %26amp; lower waterline)

I use gel liners if i just want to emphasize the shape of my eyes by lining the outer corner of my upper lash line..i don't go all the way...then set it with either a dark brown powder or black powder..

I use liquid liner if i want to have a well defined cat-eye look. It's a lot better if you use liquids to emphasize your lines...

2. As for me, i do have a couple of liners that i use:

pencil - Lancome Le Crayon Kohl

cream/gel - Fanny Serrano Gel Liner

liquid - ELF Liquid Liner

I like both to be honest, but I like liquid a bit better, since it stays on a bit longer and it's easier to apply. It also sometimes comes in more colours and sometimes is cheaper.

For liquid, I would recommend M.A.C.'s liquid liner.

For cream, I would recommend smashbox's cream liner.

The previous member answered your question very well. I apply the powder eyeliner with an angled brush but stopped using it because everytime I sneezed, the small particles would scatter onto my eyelid!!! Plus it pigments your skin. Gel liner is applied with an angled brush. I have used bobbi brown and mac but I prefer bobbi brown as its thicker. Gel liners can also be used to line the inside of your eyes (making them appear bigger). Again bobbi brown is better as its visible and lasts. Liquid eyeliner is the quickest to apply. I use l'oreal superliner. I suggest bobbi brown gel eyeliner. You can't go wrong with that. Cream liner, as the name suggests, is a liner with a creamy base and texture, it is applied with an angled brush. Liquid liners are a more wet, ink type of liner, they can be applied with a brush or come in wands or texta style tips. Gel liners are more natural, they are of a gel-like texture and applied with a brush. Powder liners are basically very highly pigmented powders, that can be applied with a wet brush.

I like MAC for all of these products. However, I would suggest Napoleon Pedris Charcoal Liner for powder.

It really comes down to what you prefer, and which is darker will totally depend on the brand. I really like Clinique's cream liner, it's a very dark black and it's VERY creamy and easier to work with than other cream liners I've used. For colored liners I do prefer liquid though. at some airports, they let u carry liquid if it fits inside a certain sized ziploc bag (i saw it on a poster at an airport) im sure compact cream foundations and lipstick would fit in the ziploc bag but it really depends on the airport

I have very very very oil skin and I use Revlon Colorstay! I was a little hesitant to get a foundation, in stead of a pressed powder like i usually use, but it works great! Make sure to get the Revlon Colorstay that says ';Oily/ CombinationSkin SPF 6';.

The Revlon ColorStay foundation did not make my skin oily- at all, nor did it make it too dry. I have used department store foundations before and I can't see using any other foundation then my Revlon Colorstay!
Well foundation for oily skin is bad. It just makes your skin oilier. Use neutrogena though if you need to use it. All their makeup is great. I use the blemish control which actually helps with oiliness. All I use is the powder and concealer.

thats what concealer is for. If its not like your entire face is red than you just put concealer on those blemish scars and blend. Its much better then putting oily stuff all over your face that is oil pron. Sorry if that sounded mean. I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just saying. If your face is already oily then using foundation, which is very oily is not a good idea.
well, i have oily skin as well. right now i'm using Almay foundation and pressed powder for oily skin (their products are separated from oily to normal to dry, etc.), and it stays on great, and is fairly inexpensive too compared to other name brand makeups. good luck!
Use Smashbox Powder Foundation. It's lightweight but stays on all day and looks super natural. Also, powder foundations will actually help absorb the oil from your skin!

Take some antihistamine tables.
Sudocreme is very soothing on any kind of rash or soreness. I always use rubber gloves when washing up - it helps!
As it`s a chemical reaction you need a cream without more chemicals in it.I often use Calendula and Aloe Vera cream.You`ll find it in most health food shops and some pharmacies.Keep it in the fridge as there are no preservatives in it.Hope this helps

The icecream diet is currently being researched and has found to be beneficial in weight loss, and for women who are more prone to osteoporosis, because of the high amounts of calcium that is being taken in.

if your body doesn't get enough calcium, fat cells are triggered to store more fat.

In a recent study, people getting their calcium from dairy products lost a much higher percentage of weight than the people on calcium supplements.

Uma Thurman and other hollywood stars swear by the diet, as they use it for preparing for their film roles.

Doctors and scientists in Japan and America have been studying its benefits saying,

a half gallon of ice cream a day (Preferably low/no sugar) along with 100 calorie fat free pudding, calcium enriched low/no fat yogart, and a bar of dark chocolate, can actually be beneficial to the health and diet. (Dark chocolate already has been proven to have positive effects on your heart.)

Some do recommend that you eat 3 days worth of the ice cream diet, and 4 days worth of a well balanced diet including other foods and continue in that pattern as you diet. 3 days on, 4 days off, 3 days on, so forth.

Some recommend eating the diet until you've lost the recommended weight. If you have cravings for a burger, head out instead to Subway and buy a half 6 gram of fat sub to satisfy that craving, then ween to a well balanced diet when you've reached your goals.

There are many forms of this diet out there, but whatever form... many people have said they've lost weight and have kept it off using this diet plan, and have felt much healthier than they were on pills that had side effects, or an all liquid diet.

of course you should always discuss your diet plans with a doctor to make sure you're not doing anything detremental to your health. Not every diet is healthy for everyone.

As for liquid diets that would include (Teas, water, juices, slim fast shakes, ensure or boost, coffee) Most liquid diets may not be suitable for long-term or excessive weight loss. They are, however, of benefit for certain types of procedures both pre- and post-operation, plus they are a type of regimen that is desired following bariatric surgeries.

but if you're not pre or post op, and you're not a bariatric patient, then the liquid diet is not recommended.

My doctor gave me the ok to try the ice cream diet along with my Alli pills he recommended to me.

I lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks, and now that I'm off the ice cream diet and on a healthy diet plan through Alli, I've kept it off and have also been able to lose the 5 extra pounds I was going for. I wasn't fatigued, I wasn't starving, I felt much healthier than when I was starving myself...

Following just the recommended Alli diet with my pills, I was constantly fluctuating in weight, losing then gaining, even though I never had snacks, nor went over my calorie / fat limit, and while I wasn't starving like on some diets, I also wasn't completely satisfied or ';full'; which sometimes led to late night cravings that causes loss of sleep.

I also wasn't taking in any calcium because milk can be high in fat, and skim makes my stomach turn. So I was putting myself at risk with a lack of calcium content.

So I must say, I liked the ice cream diet personally, for me.

of course I personally had low sugar and low fat ice creams, and I supplimented my proteins through one Turkey sub with a little lettuce and light mayo from subway. It was 4.5 grams of fat, and 210 calories.

I also take a Multi-vitamin and a B100 vitamin (but that's for nerve damage...) however, its been an effective extra in my dieting as well.

Well, it really depends on what type of skin you have and what coverage you like. I have oily skin but I have a ton of blemishes on my face from when I was pregnant, so I use liquid.
the best to use for your skin mineral powder with a kabuki brush.....use a light moisterizer before applying and let moisterizer dry before applying mineral powder

Powder foundation is normally lighter and looks natural, however that is not always the case. Cream foundation is normally thicker and good for coverage. Concealor is great for coverage.

It is best not to apply all three because in the long run your skin will look quite haggard and not very youthful, so I'd suggest wearing a bit of concealer for blemishes or to even out skin colour. I'd then wear powder.

For more coverage, or a night out, or special occasion I'd suggest wearing the cream or liquid foundation with moisturiser mixed in so it doesn't streak or look caked up. I'd then suggest you use the concealor for any bits that the foundation didn't clear out. After I'd wear transculent powder to set everything off.

You can use concealer before wearing cream/liquid foundation but it is best to use it after so you know where you need to conceal instead of using it beforehand as the foundation should cover most of it.

I acually use three:

FIRST: I put concealer underneath my eyes(for dark circles) then cover pimples or whatever else.

SECOND: I grab my sponge(for liquid foundation) and put a little water on it. then put my foundation on it and dab it over the concealer for it

have a better blended look. put the foundation on your face to. haha.

THIRD: once I have my liquid foundation on I get a medium blush brush and put your powder onthe brush and go underneath your eyes and a little on your face.

that's all I do. it doesn't look oily or dry. and you don't look like a cake face.

I wear Bare Minerals ! I love it and wouldn't change for anything ! I like it because you don't have to wear all the layers of make up. But.........I will wear a little of liquid around my eyes and so forth, but all and all, I will layer my Bare Minerals ! And if you do end up with Bare Minerals, I highly recommend using the Kabuki Brush ! I am light fare skinned with light freckles, and when done with applying the make up, you cant even tell I have freckles or am wearing alot of make up.

The concealer on its own is fine because if you got a good one then it will cover up a lot, but if you want to go for a darker look then put a light, natural foundation on top of your concealer.. Or you could put a light powder on top but if you are young then powder isnt that good for your face so just go with the liquid foundation. you can wear it by itself, but make sure you really blend it into your skin so it doesn't look noticeable.

but if you're covering up under eyecircles with concealer and you don't wear anything on top, it's usually noticeable after a few hours. so if you're applying it to your eye area, i suggest you cover it up with a little powder.

Yea as long as you blend it in enough i use collection 2000 illuminating touch concealer for under eye circles %26amp; dont like wearing foundation so i just wear that. You can apply it with a foundation brush. Hope you get it :)

i like the powder better. I think it covors more and it feels like i'm not smothering my skin. I also hink it's better for oily skin. But for dry, use liquid. But I love the chanel liquid foundatin. It's amazing. It makes your skin look perfect. But I bet you anything it's expensive.

It depends on your skin type. I have super dry skin so I like liquid foundation but a person with oily skin might want a powder foundation to absorb some of the oil. I like liquid because it blens in with your skin and doesn't leave streak marks if you do it correctly. I also like Dream Matte Mousse form Mayebeline.
I agree that it does depend on your skin type.

For dry to normal skin liquid or cream is probably better.

For oily skin powdered may be better, but they do have liquid and cream foundations specially formulated for oily skin.

I like using liquid foundation mixed with a bit of face moisturizer so that it isn't as heavy. I spot-treat any blemishes with a clean-n-clear cover up stick. I then finish off with a sheer powder, bronzer and blush (but not too heavy!).
Mineral powder. liquides and creams have to include preservatives and oils, which are not good for you. Mineral makeup is dry powder and cannot support bacterieal growth, hence they don't include preservatives.

I use Hollywood and NoHoGlo mineral foundation from LAminerals.com

It depends on the kind of coverage your looking for. A liquid foundation will give you sheer to medium coverage depending on the brand and the formula. Cream foundation gives the skin a natural finish while offering the highest coverage. I find it to be the most versatile, cause even though it tends to be thicker and heavier consistency, it can be made sheerer simply by applying it with a damp sponge. Powder foundation is pressed powder that can be used wet or dry and gives you a sheer to medium coverage.
I think that powdered is really nice if you dont put on to much, it goes on really easy to the skin and doesnt make it look oily like liquid or cream

Pencil smudges and normally ends up halfway down my face towards the end of the day. Liquid has much more staying power, and you can put it on top of eyeshadows.

i hate liquid eyeliner. it just looks too harsh, in my opinion. i usually end up using my ol trusty pencil cuz its quick. but i adore the new creme ones that u apply with an angled brush. when i have the time, my fave way to do it is the pencil on the bottom n creme on the top starting directly below the arch in the eybrow. having the creme liner on top gives it a very sultry look :)
I prefer pencil. It's quick and easy. Only problems is that it sometimes smears and smudges. I fix this by applying mascara, sometimes that keeps eyeliner from smudging.

I prefer pencil because I'm better at applying it and prefer a slightly smudged and less intense look on my eyes.
Pencil ! I tried liquid, but the eyeliner fades in like 5 minutes, and when I apply it my hand gets dirty.
Liquid eye liner stays on and doesn't smudge! It also gives you that precise, sharp look which is really sexy :)

People have different likes and dislikes depending on what suits them well.

Cream (do you mean gel?): It's kind of hard for ME to put it on because sometimes I get clumps. [I've only used this once and I decided never to use it again so I don't have much info. on this.]

Liquid: It doesn't dry fast and it smudges (between the time it dries) It's creates a harsh line. It also fades. Liquid eyeliner should be used when doing cat eyeliner or when used with false eyelashes.

Pencil: Easy to smudge. Smudges. It fades a lot, meaning you have to keep re-applying. It's good for smokey eye and smudging, and definitely the only eyeliner you can use for the bottom of your eyes.

the simple answer it is so they can see the items without rummaging through you bags it saves time and it stops long queues in theory just think how long it would take if they had to wait until you had got all the gear out of you bag. it is immaterial on wether the plastic bag is sealed or unsealed

I HEARED IN THE NEWS IT IS BECAUSE OF THE TERROISMS THEY USE LIQUID OR POWDER BOMB AND THEY PUT IT INSIDE THE LOTION, CREAM OR GEL CONTAINER.
I over Christmas and they didn't even check in my bag for these. And I had some. It's a pretty silly rule that's very hard to enforce.
Personally I think it is more for show than for anything else. Liquid explosives can be pretty dangerous in small quantities and no one checks to see that your tiny vial of perfume is really perfume and not something horrible and dangerous. But it makes infrequent travellers feel safer, and it makes people to some extent a little more aware of their surroundings, so I guess there's that bit of good that comes of it. In general though, I don't see the benefit.

If u remove them from your bag, the XRay operators can see them, easily plus they can see the density of the liquids. Besides that, once in a bin, others screeners can take a quick of your contents as explosives have certain characteristics.

Still, you have the option to declare larger liquids. Medications, baby formula and food, breast milk, and juice are allowed in reasonable quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag.

I'm trying to make this German Pastry, ';Quark-tasche';, using Quark (type of fresh cheese). After mixing up the cheese, lemon juice, sugar and egg, I'm then instructed to pour two tablespoons of the mixture onto a square crescent roll and(described below ';Take hold..';). When attempting to do so, the mixture, now a liquid consistancy, spills and pours all over the place. When I had it in Germany, my friend baked it in little round balls; I tried, batter mess, failed. Please help me make this work!

Instructions:

-Preheat oven to 375掳F

-Combine quark, lemon juice and 3-4 tsp sugar

-Add egg and stir to combine.

-Unroll crescents and separate into large (roughly) squares. Pinch together seams as much as possible

-Measure out about 2 Tablespoons of cheese mixture and place in center of square

-Take hold of two opposite corners of dough and bring to a point in the center, bringing the other two corners in to meet them, so that you are left with roughly a square filled pastry

Hi there girly!

I have much experience dealing with makeup, and brands, and I can tell you that there are a few ways she could have accomplished this look.

The more likely method is that she used a liquid eyeliner on the top of her lid, close to the lash line. She is not, in fact, wearing fake eyelashes. The liquid liner will enhance the look of the volume of your lashes, and give the effect of longer, fuller eyelashes. After she spread the liquid liner on the top lid, she took a Smooth pencil liner in the same color (black), and filled in any bottom space that was not filled by the liquid liner. Meaning, she would have gone over the lash line, which is the part of the lid where the eyelashes are, to give another boost of volume to your lashes.

For the bottom, she used a Smooth pencil liner, and used a eye liner brush to smudge the liner. If you are wanting to achieve this look, use a TINY bit of water on the brush, and smudge the bottom just slightly. If this is too difficult for you to do, take a cream eyeliner in the same color, and smudge that way.

Apply one or two coats of mascara, and voila! You have achieved the same look!

my sister is going to homecoming and she wants me to do her makeup. First off, my sister doesnt have ';flawless'; skin. Actually.. its pretty bad. I would consider to be moderate to severe acne, but i think a lot of her blemishes are actually acne scars.. I dont know. haha But i was wondering what type of foundation would be best for these type of skin. Powder I heard is a sheer foundation, and then there is cream and then theres liquid. I know liquid gives the highest coverage but my sister will be dancing and so im sure she will sweat, plus she has oily skin. I really don't know what to use for her oily and acned skin. If you have any advice and tips you could give me, it would help a lot.

i had prom not too long ago and i just wore a powdered foundation. trying to apply too much makeup to a person who has alot of acne just accentuates the problem. I too have oily skin and i think that wearing powder worked just fine. plus with all the dancing, you are likely gonna sweat and having a gooey face doesnt make it any more pleasant.

well i would first try covering up her acne scars and red spots with a concealer stick, then use a creamy foundation. Something that isnt as liquidy is Covergirl aquasmooth in the long blue compact. Then top that off with either a loose or pressed powder so she doesnt just sweat it off. Another good thing about Covergirl aquasmooth is that it is kind of waterproof so it should stay on pretty well, plus adding a powder on top will set the makeup up and it will last longer. just add some rosy blush to add color and whatever other makeup you choose and she should be good :) Good luck.

I have extremely dry skin and find that powder bronzers look chalky on me! I have tried a few brands so far including clinique and body shop, both are alright but i find they tend to bring out my lines on my forehead... finally i was also wondering if anyone knows of bronzers that also have good coverage because my skin cannot handle having both foundation and bronzer on at the same time.. thanks everyone that helped out ;)Liquid/Cream Bronzers!!!?

Well i find that liquid and cream bronzers tend to look cake face.

as do heavy foundation topped with dark bronzer.

if you have dry skin and dont want ot look chalky or cake face, i would strongly recomend shimmer bronzer, it gives your skin a VERY subtle looking shimmer, and makes your skin look perfect, smooth and slightly tanned,

its not too dark, %26amp; it easily goes over foundation without causing erritation and cloged pours

I would try Revlon they have a lot of different and unique tones of liquid bronzer and I have used it many times I have a more of a pale olive skin tone so it works well for me I would reccomend it

You could invest in a good moisturizing foundation. I have a tinted moisturizer and its so nice. That might help with the bronzer. You could also try Bare Escentuals bronzer, they won't clog your pores.

if you have dry skin then you should solve that problem .. its not healthy for your skin, you should always keep it moisturized.

try putting vaseline before going to bed (i did that and now my skin is not try, its very smooth and soft) but make sure the vaseline your using is some good quality or else it wont do you any good.

and dont put any vaseline on your upper eye lids or they will look puffy ..

also dont go out with vaseline on your face, cuz the sunlight+vaseline will make your skin get darker
Liquid foundations are always a better choice compared to powdered.

I have used both, and also have really dry skin....much of the same problems you have.

I use a liquid foundation called Ultimate Cover by Wet 'n' Wild.

It works great and there is a ton of different tones to choose from.

After applying it i normally go back over problem spots with a cover up cover stick of some sorts.

You can get the stuff i use at walmart, it's well worth a try and it's also inexpensive.

I used to place 3 small dots around my cheek bone area %26amp; blend them in.

I would do a test to see if your face is oily within the same amount of time without the foundation (just the base).

If you have oily skin you not be using moisture cream because it is for a dry skin, cream products sometime have more oil in the makeup of the product. I think that the Revlon colorstay has a oil base to it and if you use it you may need to finish your foundation with powder to help seal it. make sure both the moisturizer AND the foundation are oil free. If it doesn't say ';oil free'; on the bottle it probably isn't. I dont think that either of them are. So your skin may be able to handle the oil in the foundation but not the possible oil in the moisturizer. It is getting warm which causes makeup with oil to kinda melt so that may be the problem too. If all else fails or you just dont want to switch makeup, dust on a layer of powder to set your makeup.

neutrogena and purpose both have a good oil free moisturizer with sunscreen that is light enough to put on under makeup

I use the revlon foundation and i got the one for oily skin. Do you have that one? If you don't use moisturizer it looks caky so you should use it. I use some moisturizer from clinique its pretty expensive though.
yes, just make sure to powder over your foundation after you're done, it will stop it from being oily during the day.

At the moment, I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. And I'm questioning if I want to use another type of foundation.

I'm at school by 8:15 and I walk which gets very hot so I sweat a bit when I get into the building. By the time it's 10 it looks like I'm not even wearing foundation which really frustrates me.

I used Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation and it didn't work very well for me. I've recently switched to a Loreal True Match Foundation (it's liquid) and it works wonders. I also bought a foundation brush for it, it's very easy to apply. I suggest doing the same thing, my foundation stays on hours longer compared to the 2-3 hours before. Also, I highly recommend setting the foundation with either a loose or compact powder, it really helps.

I used to use Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse and I had the same issue. It's mostly a problem with the foundation, because all of Maybelline's foundations melt off my face quickly. I'd suggest L'Oreal Bare Naturale (powder) and second choice: Revlon Colorstay (liquid).
I personally love Milani's Smooth Finish Cream to Powder foundation. It comes in a compact and lasts for hours. I use it every day and soon, I'm going to have to buy another!
I would go with powder for the sweating part.

But I do like liquid foundation bc if it's your skin tone, it gives such a natural finishh :)

You can use water with shimmer shadows and with any mineral shadows. If you use any kind of lotion or cream the shadow will crease and not look all that great. There maybe some kind of cream out there to liquefy your shadows but why spend $ when you can use water and all the makeup artists do it too. liquid is more for drier skin, powder is usually for oilier skin, and it really just depends on what kind of cream it is. I prefer clinique's superfit makeup because the people at macys [theyre also at boscovs and neiman marcus], custom fitted the skin colour so it looked really natural on my skin. However, I have a combination skin, and so they gave me a foundation [liquid].

To apply liquid, if you use a sponge, it wastes alot of it, so what i do is just put like 5 small dots of the foundation on both sides of my cheek, 3 on my forehead, and like one big one on my nose and chin. then i use my fingers to rub them in, cuz the warmth of your hands also help it to settle in better.

I have a friend who uses powder, and i think its horrrible on her cuz it looks amazingly fake, and her hand's skin color is completely different from her face skin color. Thus if you get a powder, make sure it matches good with your skin color. Use your inner forearm, to c what matches there, and that should be a good match for you. To apply powder just pat it on your face, but dont over do it. Jus one pat everywhere should be good enough. You may have to give it touch ups every now and then but again, it depends on your skin type.

oh yea, and make sure whatever you use, you put it on your eyelids, on your jawline, and even a lil under your jawline, to make sure everythings blends in well.

Liquid is well.. liquid, and has a smoother finish and in most cases looks more natural.

Powder can often look 'caked on.'

Power foundation also makes your skin age faster.

I prefer liquid.

At the moment I'm using two different liquid foundations and a powder foundation, applying a layer of each liquid first and then the powder foundation. It works well for my skin.

They can all work well, it just depends what type of skin you have.

Eg. If you have oily skin using a oil based liquid foundation isn't wise, you'd want to go for a water based liquid foundation or maybe powder.
Hey:) I was in exactly the same position as you a few years back!!! But after experimenting with different brands and types of foundation I now stick with MAC Studio Fix Fluid and have been using this for the past year :) It gives me a flawless even finish (I would recommend using a good quality primer underneath your foundation to enhance its staying power) I have used Mac's creme foundation and i found that it looked way too cakey and streaky, powder foundation is good if your just after a natural finish, but because I have a few imperfections on my face I feel that liquid works best as the coverage is buildable. I apply my liquid foundation with Mac's stippling brush which is meant to give you an air brushed look and im being totally honest here! it really works!! :) I always get compliments on my makeup application..

I have used the maybelline dream matte mousse in the past and i found that it didnt work very well for me, it left my skin looking uneven and streaky. My sister recently stopped using the dream matte mousse because she found it didnt last very long shes now got the same liquid foundation and her skin looks flawless.. :)

it all depends what kind of coverage you like and what is your skin type? power foundations are better for oily skin. and power foundation is also great for travel and touch up. and liquid and creams are better for drier skin. If you are getting what you need from you foundation I wouldn't change it. the liquid foundation is lighter coverage, than power and the cream. I use power foundation for summer and liquid for winter. but that is what I prefer. have fun : )
The difference is: liquid is liquidy and turns into powder, powder is just powder, and cream is like a wet powder that drys after you apply it. I can't say what one is better it depends on your skin type but i like powder because it doesn't dry out. Each one is applied differently for liquid take a small amount on your index finger and but small dots around your face, start with forehead then cheeks and chin, but don't put too many you don't want to look like a cheetah. Then blend the dots into your skin, make sure you do it evenly. For powder i use a cosmetic sponge and spread it evenly all over my face. I've never used cream so idk how to apply it. I agree that picking out a foundation is hard work! It depends on your skin type. If you have dry skin then you need to look for a moisturizing one, if you have fine lines then you need one that won't cake up in then and make it look worse, If you have oily skin then you need to find something that won't increase the oil and look really oily just sitting there in your skin. Also you want to find the right shade, not to dark or to pale. I have dry skin and I like Cover Girl smoother's, it has all day hydrating without to much and the color matches perfectly. In the summer when my skin is a little more oily I like Maybelline Wonder finish, it turns to a powder look after it dries. Both are liquid and I like the light feeling on my face. I think young women can get away with heavier foundation but as we age you need to find something lighter so you don't show off your wrinkles. lol. Just remember that makeup is to accent your natural beauty not to create a false one.
i like using powder because it looks more natural, and you can always re-apply it. also, it takes away shine and soaks up oil on your face but if thats not a problem for you then you can use whichever you prefer. you can also use liquid make-up and put powder on-top as a finish.

I've used to whipped moose foundations, powders, pressed %26amp; loose, cream, tinted moisturisers.... I've probably tried it all.

The only thing I haven't tried is mineral make up.... I'm thinking of moving on to that.
foundation always looks gross to me, it looks like paint over zits. personally i would just wash and moisturize my face, it looks healthier clean without a layer of goop wreaking the pores

Well it does depend a little on your skintype, but I would definetly suggest L'Oreal Bare Naturale for both. They give flawless coverage (coming from someone with awful skin) and they really do look natural. I personally prefer liquid as it blends better, you have more control on application %26amp; looks more natural. But they say if you have very oily skin, powder is better. I think cream is not suitable for dry skin also.

Make sure your foundation matches your skin tone exactly, otherwise you'll end up looking orangey/fake.To find the right colour, use the samples and put it on your jaw line on bare skin and blend it in. If (in natural light) the foundation blends into your skin, making it look natural and not noticeable, you have your match!

I'd say use a liquid foundation, something like Mac Studio Fix Fluid SPF15, It provides a good coverage and a flawless matt finish. Especially if used with a MAC 190 foundation brush. Then, a powder is great to put on top your foundation to help it set. I would suggest is MAC Blot Powder/Pressed, it sets the foundation and is great for touch ups during the day.

Mac select cover up is a good concealer, s it hides does dark spots.
Depends on your skin type and the weather. In hot weather and oily skin, loose powder works alot better than liquid ones. It's also important to get the right shade because if it's too dark it would come out very orangey and unnatural and if its too light, it would look too pasty. So always test it at the store and see how it blends with your skin tone.

There are many different brands out there ranging from $7-$45. It all depends on what you want to spend. If you can afford it, I would say MAC studio (powder type) is the best. If you want drug store brand, I would say NYC mineral loose powder is great and very cheap.

I would recommend powder foundation. They don't clog your pores and they minimize your pores also.(depending on the brand) some brands are even healthy to wear to bed! I would EXTREMELY recommend that you buy BareMinerals(the only brand that i know that you can sleep in and you can buy a ';mineral veil'; which makes it last longer) Its incredible. the link is below.

Since your skin is slightly tanned..you can order the shade of foundation that is right for you..and can also by the progression in the same kit.(Say you get tanner during the summer on your face and you dont want your face to be lighter than the rest of your body because of your foundation!)

I have tried all three and powder to me works best. It doesn't feel cakey when it's on and if it does come off it is very easy to reapply. I reccomend bare minerals. I wear it all the time and it survived a hot California July day at Disneyland ( over 100 degrees).
depends on your skin. if your skin has biggish pores i don't recommend the powder b/c it will wear out. if you have smoothish skin try the cream b/c it will give it a nice shine but don't try the liquid unless you have dryish skin or else it will give your skin an overly oily tone

i don't use powder because it comes off looking weird in my opinion. i use something called a dream matte mousse by maybelline and it works pretty well. it's light so it doesn't look overly done and powdered. you might consider it to be a cream-like product.... i've never tried a liquid foundation, though.

Sorry to say hun but no foundation is made to last, what you need to do is go out and by yourself a little thing called a primer, its what you put on your skin before you use any makeup it helps KEEP the makeup there for a longer time and works wonders, and its cheap, but if you must, I'd have to say the cream. :) power comes off when you touch your face or on a date and laying your head on your bf's clothes, (dont wanna leave a mark do we now ;))

I've always used the twist crayon kind... pencil is a pain in the butt to sharpen, I can never get liquid to apply properly and it smudges super easy before it dries... never tried the cream stuff, but I've heard Mac's gel eyeliners are wonderful. Before I went to the crayon kind, I used pencil and used a lighter to heat it up and make it softer to apply easier before I used it. I think crayon... You don't need to always sharpen it if you get the kind that you just twist up. AND, it doesn't hurt as much as pencil usually does from those sharp splintery pieces you sometimes get after you sharpen it.

Cream doesn't sound too easy to put on just the way you like, then again, I've never tried that kind before.... sorry!!

Liquid could get messy... couldn't it? Sounds runny and darker. Unless you like darker, it jumps out a bit more than most. But that much is up to you.

But I'd stick with the crayon!!;)
Liquid eyeliner has always lasted for a long time for me, and it also hardly ever smudges like pencil liner does.
Cream and gel liner works best on me. They don't smudge or run on my oily lids.. I can control the thickness of the line and do 'wing-out' cat-eye look effortlessly with cream liner too!

it depends on wat brand it is like maybiline liquid would stay longer but its messy and a little lancome or maybiline define a line would work just as well with less mess:)

If you have some Shout or some sort of laundry stain fighter, spay the stain. Let it set for a bit then go back with a scrub brush and water and scrub the stain well, then put a towel over the spot and stand on it to pull out the water and soap. Repeat as necessary.

I also like to use Fantastik Oxy Power - I get it at Home Depot.

Try using a steam cleaner. You can buy a handheld one or rent one from most grocery stores. I've used them on old stains and it always gets it up.

Same question same answer, YES, you can.

You can put either in the freezer or even just the fridge. It won't freeze but it will thicken. If you are using a spout to pour it you probably don't want it too chilled cause it will be more difficult to pour. You'll just need to pull the spout. It will definitely freeze because of the cream. Just keep it in the refer if you like to drink it cold.

it would freeze because the alchohol content is not enough to keep it from freezing. Put it the freezer for awhile and just check it once in awhile.

It really depends on what type of skin you have.

Dry, oily, sensitive, etc etc

If you have really clear skin and just want to even your skin tone out, powder should work just fine.

If you have a little acne, liquid with a light finish of powder should do the trick.
i've tried all kinds and i like liquid the best, if you get a good one it goes on nice and smooth and it doesnt feel like your wearing 20 lbs of makeup but does a really good job of toning and covering. Im now using a liquid one from mac and i love it (:

Okay I just bought a gel eyeliner from target. It's by Pixi. It's one of those kinda new designer brands. It's pricey (20 dollars) but it is seriously the most waterproof eyeliner I've EVER used. It stays perfect ALL DAY. I used to use Maybelline Unstoppable. It claims to be water and smudge proof. It's okay... it stays pretty well but the one by Pixi is 5 billion times better haha. And a little goes a very long way!

Loreal H.I.P. makes a gel liner too. For 10 dollars I think? But I've never used it so I can't say if it works as well, but if the one by Pixi is too expensive, you might wanna try the Loreal one.Liquid, cream, gel, or powder liners?

Liquid liner is a tick task but it comes in waterproof formula's

It's impossible to know how your skin will react to a certain brand. What works for some women, doesn't work for others. Seriously, I have really bad acne I can't leave that house w/o Matte Mouse on.. my spots look dreadful without make-up.. when I discovered Matte Moose my confidence blossomed.. it covers every last spot, I'd advise you to get a good powder to put on after, it gives it an airbrush effect.

I have combination skin but some random spots on my face are very dry. I want a foundation that will look as natural as makeup can but a good price. It has to last atleast a school day and not make my face an oil slick. I have some mild redness and a little acne.

So... would you prefer Dream Matte Mousse or Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation?

I hate dream matte mousse. I tried it because everyone else seems to really like it but for me it didn't work. It was orangey and cakey.

I don't have oily skin, but I've heard that its worse for oily skin.
