I've always used the twist crayon kind... pencil is a pain in the butt to sharpen, I can never get liquid to apply properly and it smudges super easy before it dries... never tried the cream stuff, but I've heard Mac's gel eyeliners are wonderful. Before I went to the crayon kind, I used pencil and used a lighter to heat it up and make it softer to apply easier before I used it. That worked pretty well, just had to wait for it to cool a bit before putting it on my eyelid.Which eyeliner stay longer and work better cream,pencil,crayon or liquid?
I think crayon... You don't need to always sharpen it if you get the kind that you just twist up. AND, it doesn't hurt as much as pencil usually does from those sharp splintery pieces you sometimes get after you sharpen it.


Cream doesn't sound too easy to put on just the way you like, then again, I've never tried that kind before.... sorry!!


Liquid could get messy... couldn't it? Sounds runny and darker. Unless you like darker, it jumps out a bit more than most. But that much is up to you.


But I'd stick with the crayon!!;)
Liquid eyeliner has always lasted for a long time for me, and it also hardly ever smudges like pencil liner does.
Cream and gel liner works best on me. They don't smudge or run on my oily lids.. I can control the thickness of the line and do 'wing-out' cat-eye look effortlessly with cream liner too!

and im not sure about cream...
it depends on wat brand it is like maybiline liquid would stay longer but its messy and a little lancome or maybiline define a line would work just as well with less mess:)
i use pencil but find that it doesnt work very well, liquid works the best i think but it is the most expensive.
liquid, cream, Pencil, crayon, then powder. Thats the order from best to worst.
My sister uses this powder-ish kind with a small applyer thing and it is way easier than pencil or crayon
i use the twist up kind. so i guess it would be a crayon.
pencil. liquid always wears off so quickly and gets in my eyes.
I do liquid and then set it with black eye shadow!
