I don't know what u mean ,,what kind of cream? I use a heavy whipping cream,, for Alfredo sauce ,,for cream soups,,the same for baking , whipping ect.....be carefull it thickens as it heats,, like with alfredo sauce
It can be used for both.
Cakes as well as for desert or regualr sauces or in soups.
